Seeking a Technical Manager - PGTM
Our Client Company is one of North America's largest, diversified blow-molded product manufacturers, with facilities in Illinois and Ohio. They are currently seeking a Technical Manager in Fremont, OH. The salary is $70K -$90K, depending on experience. Relocation assistance is available.
The Technical Manager spends a considerable amount of time on the floor, addressing challenges and issues regarding equipment downtime and changes, performing PLC programming, troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and more. Drawing on a thorough understanding of assembly and operational design, he/she plans, directs and supervises a team of 15 - 20 people in the installation, repair and maintenance of all plant systems.
Requirements:
- Four-year college degree (strongly preferred)
- Extensive technical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in blow-molding manufacturing
- 5
years experience as a Manager in a technical area, or 7
years experience as a Process Tech in
plastic-injection molding combined with management experience
- Detailed, technical background with some machine building/fabrication experience
- Background in OSHA & EPA regulations and Safety Engineering
- Strong background in Maintenance Systems (PMTPM), including repair/build equipment
- Demonstrated preference for driving continuous improvement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communications skills
