Summary:
Responsible for client intake for chore programs, completion of paperwork, data entry, preparation of client files, and managing vendor relationships.
Request write-ups and cost estimates for chore, repairing or rehabilitating the property; facilitate the contractual process between the client and/or homeowner and the contractor; and perform health and safety minor repairs.

Experience:
One to three years experience providing minor handyman/maintenance, residential construction, homecare, or cleaning services to homebound seniors or related experience; three years experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Additional Requirements:
Initial and periodic Motor Vehicle Records checks, maintain a valid driver's license, and maintain a safe driving record.
Must have insured, dependable transportation available for daily use.
Must submit to initial and/or periodic state and/or federal criminal checks.
Must submit to initial and periodic drug and alcohol testing.
Ability to be reached by cellular phone during business hours and after hours.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Maintain an up-to-date electronic income eligibility determination spreadsheet to ensure 100% accuracy in client eligibility.
Recruit clients and vendors utilizing a variety of methods, including direct mail, telephone, advertisements, referrals, home visits, and participation in outreach events.
Assist clients with the application and income verification process, schedule appointments and home visits to complete forms.
Maintain client files with appropriate documentation.
Conduct a room-by-room analysis of eligible homes to determine health and safety services to be provided within the scope of the program.
Request quotes, execute agreements, forms, and paperwork to accomplish program goals; document necessary work orders, contracts, inspections, and other required activities in the client and/or contractor file.
Work with client and/or homeowner and contractors to address any questions or concerns throughout the process.
Perform minor health and safety repairs such as window screening, caulking, replace faucets and door knobs, install smoke alarms, and removal of clutter.
Conduct detailed final inspection to initiate authorization of payment to contractor.
Negotiate and prepare change orders as necessary for approval following program guidelines.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge on program guidelines and regulations.
Acquire and maintain a thorough working knowledge of available chore, housing and energy programs and other community programs to provide applicants with referral information using a case management approach.
